Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. As a government contractor, accuracy, compliance, and integrity are paramount in all financial matters. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial records are accurate, compliant with regulations, and support our mission as a government contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets for internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations, including DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) requirements.

• Support financial audits and reviews by providing accurate and timely documentation and explanations as required.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
