Description We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Accounting Clerk for our manufacturing unit located in Torrance, California. This role involves contributing to our accounting department by managing accounts payable and receivable tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispatch, and keep track of invoices, credit memos, and statements.

• Receive payments and arrange them for bank deposit.

• Assist in the collection of past due balances.

• Help process Accounts Receivable (A/R) entries and update comments on customer’s accounts.

• Maintain all Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) files.

• Communicate with clients via phone and email.

• Process daily credit card payments, Cash in Advance (CIA), and will call orders.

• Create player/Ad Staff accounts for marketing.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Demonstrable understanding of the accounting cycle in a manufacturing setting

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to prepare financial reports and statements

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies

• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining financial records

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

• Good communication skills for liaising with other departments and external parties

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations

• A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Relevant work experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is beneficial

• Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge as required by the role

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
