Eversource Energy Supervisor, Meter And Service in Tilton, New Hampshire

Plans, schedules, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the New Hampshire Meter Reading and Field Collection personnel in the assigned supervisory area. This would include AMR routes, manual meter routes, collection orders and field orders/field investigations. Responsible for planning, developing, and communicating field related practices, policies, and safety. Communicating company goals and ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Supports Company Emergency Response Plan (ERP) events within and outside the state as required.
  • Tracks goals and endures KPI targets assigned to the group are met.
  • Effectively resolves customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Respond & resolve any PUC complaints pertaining to Meter group.
  • Track and manage the overtime budget.
  • Supervises the ordering, installation, removal, and maintenance of electric meters.
  • Supervises the daily collection order count and activity log/spreadsheet.
  • Participates in projects related to Meter Reading, Collections and other associated activities and processes.
  • Advises internal and external customers and contractors on metering and related technical matters.
  • Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of all CSS information, customer and Company keys, customer payments, meters, and related measuring equipment.
  • Works with local Foreman to effectively manage AMR routes and ensure timely customer bills.
  • Works with local Foreman to effectively manage collection activity and account receivables.
  • Works with local Foreman to provide guidance on personnel matters.
  • Works with local Foreman to reduce estimated bills.
  • Identifies training needs, develops, and coordinates training programs including safety, operational methods and procedures, progression, technical and customer related training.
  • Conducts safety meetings and Field Safety Observations.
  • Interprets Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Administers the union contract.
  • Reviews and approves employee payroll.
  • Performs mid-year and year-end reviews.
  • Facilitates Revenue Protection programs by initiating, coordinating and/or conducting energy diversion investigations, promptly identifying, and correcting improperly metered locations and providing accurate data for billing adjustments and legal actions.
  • Manages and coordinates motor vehicle utilization, repair and maintenance for vehicles in their region.
  • Positively & cooperatively contribute to team, peer-to-peer and leadership communication.
  • Promote & support an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Thorough knowledge of single phase and polyphase electric metering theory, operation, and procedures.
  • Ability to deal effectively with employees, supervisors, customers, and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to use or learn computer applications such as C2, CACS, OMS, ARCOS, Kubra, FCS, Fieldnet, and Powertrack. This listing is not all inclusive.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technology, or equivalent experience

Experience :

  • Five (5) plus years of metering or related experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Motor Vehicle Operator’s License required. Proven Safe driving record required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $108,000 - $120,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
