bout Us:\ TheOSURodeo Team was present at the very first meeting that formed the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) in 1948 and has been a member ever since.NIRAis divided into 11 regions with over 135 colleges and universities having a recognized rodeo organization on their campus. TheOSURodeo Team is a member of the Central Plains Region which includes schools (both 2-year and 4-year schools) and competitors from Kansas and Oklahoma. TheOSURodeo program hosts and produces the annual Cowboy Stampede Rodeo as part of the Central Plans Region competitive rodeo schedule.\ \ TheOSURodeo program is a club sport. The program and its related facilities are administered through the Ferguson College of Agriculture, reporting to the Associate Dean. Facilities include a covered arena, an outdoor arena and calf lane, stalls for competing students, turnouts, and a classroom located on the rodeo program grounds.\ \ OSURodeo team members excel in the classroom and in the arena.
