Housekeeping Attendant / Housekeeper<br> We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant/Housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards, to attend all areas of our resort-style venue including event spaces and currently 31 rooms. Must be a self-starter and willing to learn, with a pleasant disposition. Candidate must also be able to work alone for most of the day. Must be able to work schedule below from Sunday to Friday. Must have own transportation. Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a resort-style wedding venue specializing in weekend weddings located in Central NY (45 minutes from Cooperstown, NY, and 25 minutes from Oneonta, NY). Job Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas Make beds and change linens Replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products Empty trash and dispose of waste properly Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits Maintain equipment in good condition Keep all supplies organized Laundry onsite to be done and coordinated Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws<p>

Qualifications / Skills desired:

Proven working experience in relevant field Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus Ability to work independently and remain motivated Prioritization and time management skills Professionalism along with speed, strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks Experience in the hospitality industry or housekeeping management is an asset Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required<p>

Schedule:

Sunday-Thursday 9am-5pm Schedule can vary, so some flexibility is required based on event schedule and finish time of job duties. Sunday to Friday with rotating days/times as needed and willingness to do more hours as needed Weekend availability. Housekeeper would start at $17 and then after 90 days be looking at a full time salary position.
