Summary:The main areas of responsibility will include working with supervision and management to ensure quality conformance, inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. The Material Handler reports to the Materials Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
Maintain inventory accuracy through consistency, security, cycle counting and various audits
Shipping domestic and international
Advanced M3 transactions and research
Perform other inventory management responsibilities as assigned
Ability to prioritize work based on business need
Must carefully and safely handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.

Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

Requirements:
Must be able to effectively control and manipulate various pneumatic and hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pliers.
Must be able to safely operate a power hand saw.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in interpreting SDS and hazard warning labels.
Must have current and valid drivers license.
Must have current certification or recent certification as forklift operator as assigned.
Must have sensitivity to safety regulations and requirements.
Able to work within the time constraints dictated by companys agreement to customer requests.
Must know how to read and use a tape measure.
Able to self-inspect personal work and correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
Must meet or exceed current training requirements.
Available to assist in other areas of the company, as directed by supervisor.
Must be able to speak, read and write English in order to safely and accurately follow all processes.
MS Windows?. Microsoft Office Environment, basic knowledge of Excel
Basic experience in part tracking system (ex: Royal IV)

Education and/or Experience:High School Graduate or GED. 0-1 years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 1 year data entry or comparable experience. Preferred Skills (not required), warehouse environment-manufacturing and-or aerospace experience. Intermediate excel usage/knowledge. Basic knowledge of MRP systems, and actively participates in implementation and maintenance of key quality principles, lean manufacturing, and 5s programs.
