Game Designer - III BC forward is currently seeking an initiative taking Game Designer - III for Remote Location. Position Title: Game Designer - III Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: 4/1/2024. Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BC forward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 12 Months. Job Type: Contract Pay Range: To be discussed. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Summary * Everything you help build will be played and seen by those hundreds of millions of players each month. * You are a fast and agile Producer/Designer looking to help developers build the best quality games they can on the Clinet's Play Platform. * You are a skilled communicator, adept at getting the best results as part of a collaborative team. You thrive in the details, able to track progress, connect people, gather, and deliver feedback, and influence without authority. * You're able to make scope tradeoffs to deliver quality on time without anything slipping through the cracks. * You are passionate about games, know what players want, and are a champion for quality. Content Producer/Designer Responsibilities * Track high level game production plans across a catalog - pre-launch, post-launch, 1st party, and 3rd party. * Help gather, develop, and own a perspective for what content quality means. * Review design docs for existing and new titles and deliver nuanced applicable guidance and feedback to each game and developer intended to drive metric outcomes. * Own Editorial featuring calendar, using editorially approved content as efficiently as possible to drive specific metric goals. * Contribute to product roadmaps, feature planning, and schedules. * Build and grow working relationships with internal teams and external partners. * Support Play Product Team and external partners wherever needed. Minimum Qualifications * 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 in a Game Producer or designer role with one or more shipped titles * Effective organizational skills and attention to detail * Proven communication skills for a wide variety of stakeholders * Experienced executing hands-on and looking at the big picture. * Experienced working on and knowledgeable on Free to Play and/or Live Service Game design and market trends. * Experienced distilling because a feature, mechanic, or system works or doesn't work for the player, and identifying next steps. * Experienced adapting plans and processes quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic team Preferred Qualifications * Experienced working on a gaming platform/content library * Experienced with casual/hyper casual games. * Experienced w/Experimentation in games * Passionate about creating player fun and quality gameplay.
