Description A thriving company is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. This is a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. This position is for candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. If you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations, you will be preferred for this position. This Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment that is located in the Richardson, Texas area.

What you get to do every day

• Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met

• Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements - Customer service oriented communication skills

• CPA/MBA preferred

• Proven technical skills

• Recent relevant financial experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• Account reconciliation experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP

• Financial Consolidation experience highly desired

• Adeptness in IFRS Accounting

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP

• Deep understanding of CPA

• Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in general ledger

• General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
