Description

We're looking for dependable drivers for our oil plant. This position starts at $27.00 per hour with year-round benefits! At LL Pelling, our drivers only work in the local area and do not travel overnight.

Work Environment:

Drivers for our oil plant are exposed to all types of outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, oil, grease, dust, and fumes. This position will frequently move from driving the truck to walking, crouching, and climbing outside the truck.

Schedule:

Overtime is typical. The number of hours worked varies depending upon the weather.

Duties:

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment.

• Use both hands to operate pumps and valves both on and off the truck.

• Safely fill tanks using various size hoses, nozzles, and fittings.

• Walk, crouch, climb, bend, and perform other physically demanding movements throughout the day.

• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting oil.

Required:

• Class A Commercial Driver's License with insurable driving record.

• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

• Regular, dependable attendance with the ability to work overtime.

• Able to safely climb up and down a tank.

• Able to sit for prolonged periods.

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

• Able to work independently.
