Job Summary:

Trane Technologies in Nuevo Leon is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading the efforts to guarantee highest standard in equipment reliability and performance.

This role will work closely with other team leaders to provide resources, on-going work direction, decision making and problem solving to ensure the safe delivery of a quality product on time to the customer. Will also be responsible for achieving safety excellence through promotion of a proactive safety culture, supervision and assignment of maintenance personnel, scheduling preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, troubleshooting machine break down events, allocating resources and communication with plant management team with uptime expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and guarantee preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

  • Monitor CMMS to properly manage planned and executed maintenance.

  • Execute strategic predictive maintenance to reduce corrective breakdowns.

  • Increase equipment effectiveness, reduce expenses, and develop proper root cause analysis for major breakdowns and plan resources according to site strategies.

  • Analize and generate plans to comply with KPI´s goals for down time, preventive maintenance attainment, mean time to repair (MTTR) and mean time between fail (MTBF) among others.

  • Coordinate projects related to modifications, service installation, equipment and machinery.

  • Outsource maintenance services. Manage budget and purchases of spare parts and required tools

Qualifications:

  • +5 years’ experience in a maintenance leadership role. CNC manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

  • PLC and electrical control literature.

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, electromechanical or similar engineering.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization.

  • Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage.

  • Proven experience in TPM.

  • Good interactive skills for facilitating team solutions.

  • Leadership and communication skills.

  • High ethical standards.

  • Microsoft office literate.

  • Project management experience.

  • I4.0 a big plus.

  • English proficiency.
