Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR support level consultant based in MEMPHIS, Tennessee. This role operates in the food manufacturing industry and will handle crucial HR operations. As a vital part of the HR team, you will be involved with compliance, policy, DEI, hiring, terminations, recruiting, onboarding, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day HR operations in a data-focused manner

• Act as the main support for the Corporate HR director, effectively becoming their "right hand"

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures within the organization

• Engage in recruiting activities to attract and retain top talent

• Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Oversee termination procedures, ensuring they are handled in a respectful and legal manner

• Create and implement DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategies to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace

• Utilize a Human Resources Management System for efficient HR administration

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure HR processes align with the overall business strategy

• Work within the manufacturing industry, understanding its unique requirements and adjusting HR strategies accordingly. Requirements • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience with Human Resources Management System

• Knowledge of manufacturing sector is a plus

• Experience in recruiting activities

• Familiarity with onboarding processes

• Ability to interpret and analyze data

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
