Test Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for implementing the tests and ensure the quality & the functionality of the product at production lines. Involved in all phases of the testing program, modifying the test parameters, troubleshooting errors, fixing the NFF (Not-Fault-Found) issues and setting up the test station according to production and designer’s requirement. Work closely with PE, ME, QE and QA departments to solve the problem to make sure the production lines run smoothly.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with prototype engineers closely to make sure the new models are transferred to mass production smoothly.

2. Enhance the test accuracy to make the test setup more safe & reasonable.

3. Analyze and deal with the test issues fast at production lines. Take actions to improve the test setup in time according to the customer or designer’s feedback.

4. Optimize the test setup to reduce the testing time.

5. Arrange the technician to support the production lines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

1. Works in manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced.

2. Overtime may be necessary to complete the task.

SKILLS:

1. Familiar with electronic circuit theory and understand the usage of test equipment.

2. Familiar with VC, VB or relative softwares.

3. Have strong problem solving and data analysis skill.

4. Good at English reading and writing.

EXPERIENCE:

Min. 3 years manufacturing test experience or relevant hands on experience.

Undergraduate diploma or above; electrical & electronic is preferred
