Commissioning Technicians  focus on maintaining fire and life safety systems and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Working both in the field and office, you will provide expertise and knowledge throughout the service project lifecycle on customer sites.  Why is this so important?  Our Commissioning Technician’s technical expertise, project oversight, and customer interaction contribute to efficient project execution, satisfied clients, and optimized long-term performance of systems. 

As a Commissioning Technician, you will:

  • Interface with customers to understand their needs and expectations, providing updates on service activities and addressing any concerns or issues promptly

  • Maintain the service schedule, ensuring that all appointments are scheduled and completed in a timely manner

  • Review inspection reports to ensure accuracy before submitting to customers. Attention to detail is crucial to maintain high standards of service

  • Utilize your expertise to ensure that all fire and life safety systems remain compliant with applicable regulations and standards

  • Provide field assistance as needed, participating in inspections and troubleshooting to address any issues that may arise

  • Assist with quoting deficiencies identified during inspections, providing accurate and detailed information to customers to facilitate the repair or replacement of any non-compliant components

  • Monitor financial aspects of our service agreements, including , invoicing and tracking payments, to ensure accuracy and timely processing as well as managing slip

You will make an impact with these qualifications:   

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in the installation and/or maintenance of fire alarm systems

  • Must obtain a NICET II fire alarm systems certification within 24mo of hire

  • Licensed to perform work in Colorado/Denver/CO springs

  • Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in the installation and / or maintenance of fire alarm systems

  • Ability to read/understand design and construction documents

  • Experience with healthcare accreditation standards

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • The pay range for this position is $70,280 - $120,480 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
