Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Kent, Washington

Description

Our client, a top-tier industry leader, is searching for a competent and experienced HR Manager who will help foster a healthy workplace by ensuring effective execution of various HR-related responsibilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with coordinating and directing various human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance within the organization. This permanent opportunity is fully on-site in Kent, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee all HR initiatives such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations.

  • Ensure all HR operations align with the business goals of the client's company.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.

  • Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent.

  • Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements and maintaining records.

  • Act as a strategic adviser to the company's senior management on HR issues.

  • Support and suggest improvements for the success of the staff and the company.

  • Monitor and manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

  • Create, revise, and implement necessary HR policies and procedures.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000. Benefits for this position include Medical/Dental/Vision insurances, participation in the company's 401k w/ a match, 52 hours of PTO in the first year and 7 paid holidays. This role is also eligible for a year end bonus and the company-wide profit sharing program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role..

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations will be a huge plus.

  • General knowledge of payroll processes would be preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and related platforms.

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.

  • Excellent leadership and people skills.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
