LNG Liquefaction Day Supervisor

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Commissioning Specialist LNG/LTS Superintendent to support the multi-year Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Nitrogen Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year. The power plant’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans.

Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

This position is contingent upon having a current/valid TWIC card or having the ability to renew or obtain a TWIC card. The TWIC card must be kept current and maintained through employment.

The LNG Liquefaction Day Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, which includes all PC&CSO activities. This role will report to the Senior CSO Manager. This role will start in the home office in Houston, TX with potential to mobilize to Plaquemine site In Port Sulphur, LA.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities:

  • Home office responsibilities include generating of systems scoping / system boundary mark-ups, PC&C Procedures, Operations Procedures

  • Work directly with the CSO Shift Superintendents for continuity of work between shifts & coordinate required work with the Maintenance / I&E CSO Superintendents and the respective disciplines

  • Liaise with the Commissioning Representative as required

  • Ensure the complex is commissioned, operated, and maintained in accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards

Additional Qualifications:

  • In lieu of formal education 18 + years of experience on commissioning and startup of LTS in LNG unit

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

  • 10 + years of experience on commissioning and startup of LTS in LNG unit with average experience of 15+ years
