The Role:
Xerox is seeking an individual to join our Digital Services team as a Digital Services Consultant – Mid-Atlantic Region (“DCS Consultant”). This sales professional will be part of high performing team responsible for delivering complex solutions to a client base that is strategically vital to the ongoing success of the company. This individual will drive sales of an array of complex products and services across all our product verticals: Managed Print Services (MPS), Content & Capture and Customer Engagement Services. Additionally, the DCS Consultant will be responsible for developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships within a demanding territory.
The Digital Services Consultant will report to the Director, Digital Services.
This position is based in the Mid-Atlantic Region and travel will be required for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as thought leader and influence client’s business process automation through Managed Print Services (MPS), Capture and Content services, Customer Engagement Services and Workflow Automation software.
Participate in sales cycle and strategy to assess client and industry needs related to key drivers for work flow productivity; Recommend relevant Xerox offering based on client needs.
Deliver specialized knowledge to client and advise throughout the entire sales cycle, targeting client business needs and differentiate Xerox proposed services from the competition.
Work with Client Manager(s) to define, design, and execute outsourcing requirements.
Participate in longer-cycle sales and technical aspects of negotiations, partnering with solution architects and content capture specialists.

This individual will have a combination of the following qualities:

Collaboration & Influencing – Able to build trust and value-based collaborative relationships in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders. Digital Services Consultant must be able to influence key internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, persuasive arguments, and use of data-driven analytics. This individual needs to be able to listen, challenge and provide constructive advice to clients and key stakeholders.
Commercial Orientation – Able to anticipate client needs, identify relevant solutions and influence customer purchasing decisions.
Problem-Solving – Able to address problems including simple, complicated, and complex through thoughtful analysis, application of critical thinking and development of actionable solutions.
Candidate Qualifications :
Proven experience in sales or service in the digital and print services sector with an emphasis on Managed Print Services. Demonstrated success delivering complex products and services, developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
Subject-Matter Expert (SME) and deep knowledge of Workflow and Business Process Automation, IT Standards, and Content and Capture Services
Quantitative background including an understanding of finance and P&L
Executive presence including prior experience interfacing with Corporate CIOs, C-level executives and other key decision makers.
Self-starter with a high degree of intellectual agility, strong business acumen and the capacity to learn and apply knowledge quickly within a dynamic and transformative environment.
Persuasive communication skills – written, verbal and presentation.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or five or more years’ experience in a relevant field of study preferred.
Location : Candidate must be based in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US (preferably near Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY or Washington DC)
