Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic project management assistant to join our roofing operations department. You will have administrative duties in learning and implementing standard operating procedures, and becoming an integral member of our team.

As a project management assistant, you will work with our project management team, and develop new skills and insight into the construction and commercial roofing field. Your insightful contribution will help develop and attain our project management corporate goals.

Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in management, engineering requirements, permitting guidelines, budget tracking and forecasting, procurement strategies and labor management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and Manage Job Files
  • Assist with the delivery of permit packages
  • Engineering and Permit Procurement
  • Assist with Job Cost Review and Forecasting
  • Specifications, Construction Drawings, and Scope Review
  • Submittals Development
  • Job Closeout Procedures
  • Assist with Formatting Job Specific Budget Trackers

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Bachelor's preferred

Experience

  • 3 years administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
  • A positive and energetic can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Passion for the Construction industry and best practices
  • Pay is commensurate with experience
