Description:

The Communications Associate leads in the development and execution of personalized strategies to promote the Bank's interests, financial expertise, brand, and solutions both internally and externally. This experienced professional collaborates, creates, and utilizes internal platforms, social media, public relations, and digital expertise to effectively create and deliver content, and support the execution of strategic initiatives.

    • Copywriting skills for internal communications (intranet and newsletters) and external communications (press releases, social media, etc.)
    • Preferably, experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite
    • Organizational skills (for managing a content calendar, asset management etc.)
    • Data analysis
    • The ability to execute content strategies
    • Knowledge of advertising on various platforms

PROMOTE DIGITAL AWARENESS

Possess and display an innovative and professional approach while Identifying trends and insights to guide and mold strategy. Enhance the Bank's internal and public presence by assisting in the development, launch and maintenance of all Bank communications. Seize content development and educational opportunities. Optimize marketing spend and collaborate with the team to execute digital marketing initiatives to maximize online tools.

 

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE

Work collaboratively with the department, Commercial Leaders, Market Executives, and Senior Management team to provide a seamless experience for our clients and target prospects. Collaborate with vendors to achieve optimal results. Assist with marketing planning, goal setting, budgets, and other marketing initiatives.

Represent the Bank during community projects and at public, social or business gatherings.

 

FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Perform and complete requests from the Marketing team in a timely manner with accuracy in reference to: community involvement, external communications and contests, promotion of products and services, and other marketing activities. Accountable to follow through on all assigned tasks and special projects.

 

SEEK PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Seek online and design experience conferences and/or training opportunities to help progress the marketing strategic initiatives of the department. Training Tracks are crafted to help link job impacts other areas, provide tools to have effective conversations, and be successful in your career. Annual, job-specific training opportunities are assigned and/or available for timely completion. Travel is sometimes required. Opportunities to grow into elevated positions are available.

 

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A two-year degree in communications, public relations, social media, digital marketing or a related field, Or three or more years of related experience is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, board of directors, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public.

 

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, Internet and intranet use. Prior experience with the Adobe suite is preferred.
