Who we’re looking for:

Wolfspeed’s Materials Business is seeking a organized and people-focused individual with a proven track record of successful execution in people leadership, hiring, team efficiency, and overall organization.  This position will work directly with the Process Engineering teams in our Silicon Carbide (SiC) Global Operations manufacturing team located at the Corporate Headquarters in Durham, NC.

The Day-to-Day:

• Work with technicians to they have the tools they need to complete their tasks in enabling production.
• Drive project initiatives forward in support of process safety, quality, throughput, and low cost
• Lead technician hiring, promotion, and training initiatives/programs within the team
• Ensuring procedures for the process engineering processes are up-to-date and audit ready
• Monitoring and coordination of technician response when process shifts out of control
• Be the team’s organization and cleanliness champion (5S) and interface between the organizational excellence team
• Verify technician gaps are covered and head count is secure for enabling production
• Document best known methods across areas of ownership
• Create and maintain technician documents and procedures as necessary
• Facilitate and oversee the technician resources for qualifications and requalification of tool sets
• Maintain schedule to meet overall qualifications and project goals
• Sustaining support, troubleshooting, equipment acceptance and resolving technical issues that may arise in day to day manufacturing

This Job is Right for You if You Have:

• BA or BS required, preferred STEM focus
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule as needed to support critical tool issues in a manufacturing environment, target shift is Sun - Thurs or Tue – Sat, 12PM – 8 PM
• Ability to manage large teams and coordinate schedules to ensure gaps are covered
• Excel in person-to-person communication skills to help drive technician growth, effectiveness, and training
• Ability to read and understand charts, graphs, and critical production indicators (or ability to learn to do so)

• Must have a positive, professional, energetic, can-do attitude
