Employment Posting Ayersville Water & Sewer District Water/Wastewater Field Operator

Ayersville Water & Sewer District is seeking applicants for the position of Water/Wastewater Field

Operator. This entry level position will be responsible for performing work in the operation and

maintenance of the districts assets including, but not limited to; the operation of motors, pumps,

electric stand-by generators, chemical feed and monitoring equipment, Supervisory Control and Data

Acquisition (SCADA) systems, housekeeping, and any other ancillary equipment as needed. Will be

required to site-specific training, and perform other duties under the direction of the District

Manager.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Ohio Driver's License. Ohio Class

I Water Supply Operator's License or ability to obtain through examination within two years of

employment. Working knowledge of all water distribution & Wastewater Collections

system components, including, but not limited to: storage tanks, pipe, valves, fittings, lift

stations, grinder pumps, repair equipment, and leak detection is preferred.

A competitive rate of pay, benefits and OPERS retirement is offered for this position. Applications
