This short term project is supporting the Dallas Independent School Network - hundreds of schools across the Dallas metro area and surrounding suburbs. UPGRADES - Physically touching each phone in the organization to perform validation and verification that the migration was completed for the phones (firmware and software upgrade on the phones). Make and take call on device. REPLACEMENTS - removal of old devices and replace with new models REMOVAL - Client wants to remove 2000+ devices from the environment Technical Responsibilities: Provision phones - Skype Phones 1. unbox phones 2. capture MAC 3. Capture Serial # 4. Pass MAC/Serials to New Era Technical Team 5. upgrade device from skype to teams 6. provision to new environment 7. set device in designated "ready to deploy area" 8. Discard boxes as instructed Provision Phones - Teams Phones 1. Unbox phones 2. Verify MAC/Serial 3. Provision to new environment 4. set device in designated "ready to deploy area" 5. Discard boxes Migration Day - Tasks: 1. arrive at facility 2. connect with on site escort 3. Work your phones list 4. As you find phones, either: remove or replace/finalize 5. For replacements and upgraded devices place the end user leave behind 6. update outcomes sheet
