RQ Construction, LLC Truck Driver - North Carolina in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

27.00-30.00 per hour $27-30PH DOE, Monday-Friday (no weekends). | Camp Lejeune, NC, USA | Hourly | Full Time

Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and now, Puerto Rico. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.

We are seeking a Truck Driver to join our team in the North Carolina area. This position is responsible for hauling cargo for safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to customers, ports, sites from suppliers or intracompany deliveries. Oversight of loading/unloading and best management practices to secure loads to ensure safe handling while implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

$27-30PH DOE, Monday-Friday (hours vary). No weekend travel required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma (or GED) and Trucking school diploma is the minimum formal education required for this position.

  • Five or more years' driving experience over the road trucking and records of safe operation thereof.

  • Class "A" CDL required.

  • "N" and "H" endorsements preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to operate diagnostic software when necessary and available required.

  • Hands-on experience with electronics equipment/software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) required.

  • TWIC required.
