Our client, a company with the world's largest cloud computing portfolio is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be part of the facilities team, maintaining the electrical and mechanical facilities systems for the buildings. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and the ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Critical Facilities Technician

Location: Ashburn, VA

Pay Range: $37.23/HR

What’s the Job?

• Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment ensuring 99.999% up-time of the world's largest cloud computing portfolio.

• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.

• Inspect mechanical and electrical issues and problem solve

• Troubleshoot electrical distribution, operational rounds, monitor equipment manager vendor check in, safety compliance.

• Mange building intake ticket for issues

• Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).

What’s Needed?

• Top requirements: 2+ years of Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
